Lieutenant General, Hero of Ukraine
Commander of the 95th Air Assault Brigade during the 2014 raid through Russian-held territory — at roughly 470 kilometres, described by analyst Phillip Karber as the longest armoured raid in modern military history. He was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine and later rose to lieutenant general.
